Recreation District #14 is a free standing governmental agency that is governed by a seven member administrative board. The Recreation District is given their right to exist by the parish but is not part of the parish government, state or town of Madisonville.
The Board of Directors meet monthly on the second Monday of the month at 6:00pm and oversee total operations of the District. The Board created various committees to oversee the operations of the park. The individual committees meet on an as needed basis. (Please see below for a list of meeting dates)
The Recreation District #14 Board of Directors also work with the volunteers of the Madisonville Youth Boosters who advise and help manage through the Recreation District #14 staff sports that are offered at Coquille.
